报告人简介: 刘毅👩🏽🎓,北京国际数学中心副教授,求是杰出青年,国家杰出青年获得者▪️。主要研究方向为低维拓扑🦉。先后在Geomety and Topology, J.Topology, Invent.Math, JAMS, Duke Math J., Adv.math, JDG 等国际杂志发表研究论文,2017年☢️,解决了Dubois, S.Friedl, and W.Lück 提出的关于Thurston norm 的猜想🦯。
报告内容: Seifert volume is a topological invariant for closed orientable 3-manifolds. It is introduced by Brooks and Goldman as a generalization of the simplicial volume. In this talk, I will discuss some recent progress on this invariant for graph manifolds, and in particular, an effective formula that allows one to compute the volume of any representation into the motion group of the Seifert geometry. This is joint work with Pierre Derbez and Shicheng Wang. |
